About the Role
As an Accountant at Fluxcore, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization. You will ensure accurate reporting, streamline financial operations, and provide insights that guide strategic decision-making. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you’ll help drive operational excellence while adhering to compliance and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis to support business decisions.
Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all entries and reconciliations are completed accurately.
Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets to identify trends and support cost optimization efforts.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company accounting policies.
Collaborate with auditors during financial and tax audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Support payroll processing, tax filings, and other related accounting duties.
Continuously review and improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 2-5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
Skills: Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero), Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools. Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
Mindset: Detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to delivering accurate and timely results.
Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally, communicate effectively, and present financial information to stakeholders.
Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
